Our guide Chiara Antonelli was fun, funny and very knowledgeable. She kept our entire tour group of 13 entertained and we learnt a lot about the ancient and rich Roman and Vatican history, how the Vatican City was build
as well as some of the interesting facts of how the inspiration came about on some of the major art pieces.

While the tour duration was around 5H +, due to our guide it does not feel that long

I will highly recommend this to anyone who is interested in exploring Rome.

I did the Rome in a Day tour for the second time in two years. The morning was at the Vatican and was informative - but like most Vatican Museum tours in recent years it was packed which is a bit of an inconvenience however with the headphone provided I was able to get some goof information. In addition at the end of the Vatican Museum tour we were able to proceed directly into St Peter's basilica without having to go out and wait forever in a line. the afternoon started at the Coliseum and included the Roman Forum and concluded at Travi Fountain, the Pantheon and ended at Piazza Navona. Both of our guides were great and helpful. The afternoon was especially memorable because for different reasons the other members of the group left and so my son and i were the only one left for a good portion of that section and so we had Nadia our guide all to ourselves - she was wonderful and passionate about Rome. I hghly recmmend this tour - although I must admit it is a FULL and tiring day.

Marianne was an amazing tour guide; she was knowledgeable and had a cheerful disposition that made for an inviting and casual atmosphere. We did the 5 hour tour of St. Peter’s basilica + Vatican museum, and it was phenomenal! We were privileged to climb the steps to the top of St. Peter’s dome to take in the breathtaking views of Rome from such an astonishing height! Then we took a tour within the basilica itself which included visiting the papal tombs underneath the church. Lastly we had “skip the line” tickets to the Vatican museum and spent the final hours in the museum, including seeing the iconic Sistine Chapel. The Sistine chapel was the last visit of the tour and once it was over we were able to stay in the museum to keep looking around at our own pace, which was really nice considering how long we would’ve waited in line to enter otherwise (maybe 60-120minutes otherwise in line). The in depth historical context Marianne provided was essential to being able to fully appreciate the beauty in the art and architecture to an extent that we couldn’t have reached without her knowledge. I definitely recommend going on this tour if you’re someone who is impartial to Roman Catholic history and all the beautiful art that accompanies the divine locale.

We booked the Vatican museums and Dome climb, but St. Peter's was closed due to a Pope-related event. Our tour guide for the Vatican museums was Chiara and she was EXCEPTIONAL! She was extremely knowledgeable, managed the immense crowds with grace and did a great job connecting with the people in the group. She was funny and endearing and I can't imagine our family having a better guide. The museums are stunning and the Sistine Chapel was breathtaking.

Simply the best!!!!
We’ve all been on those dull boring guided and ‘informed’ tours with a guide who has as much character as the material used in the construction of 3000+ year old obelisks etc……well our guide Chiara Antonelli in Rome brings her very own style and energy to guiding like nothing you’ve never experienced before! She understands her audience and takes time to engage with them to allow you to be part of her ‘theatre’ and her performance throughout ‘the stage’ of St Peter’s Dome Climb, Basilica and Vatacombs, which was our first morning in the beautiful city of Rome and the Vatican.
Having had to leave other guided walking tours early due to the ‘character bypass’ of our guide - all I can say is seek this wonderful and engaging guide when visiting Rome……strap in, brace yourself and surrender to her bubbling personality and undoubted knowledge in her very own Romanesque theatre …grazie mille Chiara .. Our guide Serena was fantastic! I would give her 10 stars. She was able to have the perfect pace, just the right amount of facts and story telling, and enough time to take pictures or take it all in. It seemed as if she genuinely was proud of the region and of all the discovery/preservation work of this amazing place. It is a must to have a guide when visiting the archeological site, I don’t know that we would have gotten as much out of the visit if we went at it alone (and would have 100% gotten lost). It was nice to speed up the transit from Rome traveling most of the way by train, so much more preferable than spending multiple hours in a bus. Lunch at the winery was fine, we enjoyed getting to know our tour group mates a bit more, pasta sauce (assuming winery and menu are consistent) was very good, but wine was unfortunately just ok. The limoncello was the star. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for a quick almost-day trip.

We booked a tour for St. Peter's Basilica, Dome
Climb & Papal Crypts: Guided
Tour and also for The Sistine Chapel, our guide was Chiara - remember this name. First of all, I really recommend to buy whole package tour, views and places are breathtaking and unforgettable. Secondly our tour guide - Chiara, was one of the nicest and really helpful people I've ever met. She has a lot of knowledge about Vatican in general, and also knows how to "give" this knowledge to the tourists. Interesting stories, funny jokes, and trying to show as much as possible is sth that makes you feel like a friend of your guide, not just the next client. 10/10 from me. Strongly recommend.

It was a lovely and informative tour with expectional guide Sandra! She held the group together really well, always checking on us and making sure we were okay. She really did share so much information with us and was trying to keep up the good spirits despite massive crowds in the Vatican museum and at the entrance to the Basilica. Overall really great experience.

I took a solo trip to Italy in August and had an amazing time on my tour with these guys. I did the Pompeii From Naples with Wine Tasting and Lunch tour and even though it was crazy hot in the scorching Italian sun, our tour guide was still really knowledgeable and kept things entertaining. It was a bit confusing on how to get to the meet up point for me (make sure you have extra time to get to the train station) but I found the mermaid water fountain next to platform 24 and the Chalet Ciro restaurant. The van had air conditioning and the seats were decently comfy, had a great tour guide, and afterwards we drove to a winery for wine tasting, a charcuterie board with meats and cheeses, and some pasta. I was the only person there alone but I still had a great time! Overall it was a really great experience and I'd book with these guys again!

After 10 days in Italy, we had the best tour with Chiara today at St Peter’s and the Vatican. She was absolutely engaging with everyone and kept my kids smiling and engaged learning about their catholic history. Her personality with exceptional and instead of complaining, my kids begged to stay with her longer. When my mother could not climb the dome, she took care of her and engaged her in great conversation. I wish I could have had a tour guide like her for everywhere in Italy. Request her, you will not be disappointed!
