We were visiting the Colosseum and were approached to do a tour with Romaround. The tour was very good and included a tour of the Roman forum which was very educational and brought old Rome to life. However, our guide then recommended we use her...More

Poor organisation, we could skip the lines, but nevertheless had to wait 80 mins in total at several spots before the actual tour started. In addition, not sure how many people joined this tour, but it was definitely more than 25. We had the impression...More

Booked our tour outside the Colosseum with Romaround. Absolutely worth every cent of what we thought was a worthwhile experience. The highlight was our Roman Forum tour with Matthew Francis. This guy has tons of personality, made the tour fun, interactive and humorous. Very knowledgeable...More

We had a tour of the vatican museum and the Basilica with Claudia. What an excellent guide! She spoke perfect English and knew everything off by heart. We wore earphones and she had a headset and spoke into a microphone. As there has to be...More

The Romaround tour was made up of far too many people, around 50, and a lot of time was spend waiting around because of the lack of organisation. To avoid the long queues at the Vatican we decided to take the option of a tour...More

This is not not really a guided tour, they just help you skip the long line, ramble something till the Sistine Chapel entrance, collect the audio guide and disappear. Plenty of other tours continued for another good hour explaining a lot of paintings, sculptures and...More

Irene was unfortunately not a good tour guide. She was difficult to understand, a little rude when answering questions, barely gave us any interesting details and corralled us through the sites of the Vatican museums and the Sistine Chapel with no concern to our wanting...More

Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is
the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in
a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is
a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and
wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every
shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and
gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but
that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets,
