We did the evening Borghese Gallery tour with Sergo. He was an awesome tour guide and was extremely knowledgeable! The Borghese gallery and surrounding gardens are a must see while in Rome. Sergo even helped us get a cab when the tour was over! I definitely recommend this tour.

Our family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed the tour with LivItaly. Our guide, Daniella was simply fantastic. Knowledgeable and funny. We really learned a lot about the history of the colloseum and the forum

We had the pleasure of touring the Colosseum, Forum and Palantine Hill with Rachel. Not only was the tour splendid but our guide, Rachel, made everything so relatable and interesting to current day. Rachel was a wealth of knowledge and information, a complete pleasure to hang out with for 3 hours, and made the experience multi-layered and exciting. We highly... More

Incredible place to tour. The tour guide Rachel was very knowledgeable & enthusiastic about all the areas toured, was a great communicator & made me feel very at ease being a solo traveller. The tour itself was well paced, I did not feel rushed at any point & there were some amazing sites to see & learn about. The ability... More

My wife and I joined a one hour running tour with Angelo. Angelo found new and creative ways to bring Roman history into life with great sense of humor. We found the entire tour to be a great fun!

My boyfriend and I wanted to go on a sweet, romantic trip to Italy and check out the sights. We took a tour of the Vatican and it blew our minds! I loved our guide, Vincenzo, who is very intelligent and quirky - he was able to answer ALL of the questions we asked down to the minute details. He... More

I did a small group tour of the Villa Borghese Gallery with LivItaly back in September. It was a nice sized group only three of us and Vincenzo was our guide. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. It was well paced and although we couldn't see everything the pieces we did see were great highlights. The conversation was engaging... More

My 10 year old daughter and I recently went on a LivItaly tour of the Colosseum, Forum and Palatine. It was a small group and went right in to the Colosseum, passing a huge line - which was a great way to start. Our guide was not only informative and engaging but took all my daughter's questions seriously and gave... More

I've lived in Rome for a long time but I've never seen the Colosseum like I did with the LivItaly Tour. With their Virtual Reality glasses I saw the Colosseum as it looked 2000 years ago. Then we had the same enhanced experience with the Roman Forum and the Circus Maximus. Incredible! The tour guide was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic... More

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighbourhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighbourhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (21:00), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
