At the top of the Janiculum Hill, you find a large Garibaldi Monument. Moreover, the view to the centre of Rome is very fine. Do not miss the view to St Peters Church opposite to the view to the city centre.

Volle di Gianicolo is the best place to have an overview over the city from a vantage point that isn’t too far out of the center of town. Evening light is especially nice because it light up the city from behind you.

A stunning spot for panoramic views of Rome. There are kiosks available to enjoy drinks/cocktails. We visited here during the day and at night. Worth a visit at night as it has a lovely atmosphere and outdoor bar is open. A fantastic walk back into Central Rome also.
