Great place for dancing and partying - in general Testaccio is a nightlife area for club hopping - many different selections from rock to latin, hip-hop to pop or house music. Fridays and Saturdays are densely crowded. The metro shuts down right when Testaccio gets going, so plan on taking a taxi home.

I don't know what the deal is with this place. Maybe it's just clubs in general here in Rome. Very expensive and would not recommend to females. We didn't feel safe or comfortable. My friends things were stolen from out of her handbag. It was over crowded and all the males were very froward and aggressive.

This was my first time in Europe so maybe this is the norm but they don’t serve any mixed drinks. There was no bar back full of liquor bottles.. it looked more like what you would find at a backyard BBQ. All I remember being offered is vodka redbull or vodka lime soda. It wasn’t good.. However, I did like... More

The American gut outside roped us in by saying it was an RNB/Hiphop club but it really is a dance club with a few old school Hiphop songs thrown in. There is only one toilet - seriously it's not as if they don't have room for more, there is absolutely no air so you have to keep going outside. Like... More

This place is fabulous for dancing. There is a10 Euro cover but not bad if you ever been to NY, Chicago, or LA. Drinks are mediocre at best. You come here to dance and have fun. It gets packed but you tend to find room to hang out. Definitely a place to enjoy.

Not only do you have to pay a 10 euros cover charge that gets you admission and a “drink” but once inside when you go to get your drink you will be served by sexist bartenders that shuffle you around by all telling you that you have to go to the other bartender. The “drink” was 90 percent ice and... More

Staying in Testaccio

Neighbourhood Profile
Testaccio
Put the house music on replay and you have Testaccio, an ancient Roman port and former working class neighbourhood where the bass is set to high almost every night of the week. Its collection of discoteche (nightclubs), street parties, and crowded restaurants give it its well-deserved party reputation. During the daytime, Testaccio is more easy listening than club hit, the area is full of locally owned small businesses and has one of the city's larger produce markets.
