As an Architect with a Master's Degree in Urbanism, I can offer you a wide and knowledgeable Tour of Rome with the enthusiasm of someone who has studied the History, the Art and the Secrets of Rome for eighteen years. Your time in Rome is precious and sometimes even a life-long dream, so customization is my hallmark. My Rome tours are carefully studied and well planned to maximize your time in the Eternal city. My itineraries are tailored to fulfill and to enrich your dream with professionalism. My private Tours of Rome turn your fantasy into a reality, covering the most important historical and artistic sites. Drawing on my expertise of many years, I can help you explore and experience the city and her treasures. My Rome Tours are organized according to the customers' needs. Not only do I share with them and their family my knowledge to provide an immediate experience of art in an accessible and interesting manner, but I also offer them the basic tools to engage with the language of the artists .

This has got to be the BEST tour I've ever taken! Led by architectural historian Ximenia Amarales we discovered the Seven Hills of Rome and much more from the back of a scooter. Ximenia's commentary relayed through a headset was at all times interesting and informative and gave us previously unknown insights to the life of ancient Rome as well... More

This was the most informative and enjoyable tour we have ever taken. Our tour guide Ximena Amarales of Roma-Bella was fantastic and fun. She is an expert in both Roman history and architecture--you will enjoy the tour and learn more about Roman history than you can imagine. Highly recommend!

Spent four days with Ximena touring Rome. She helped shape the tours we wanted and recommend the best way to order itineraries. She has a thorough knowledge of the history of Rome and offered some wonderful insight to what we were viewing, bringing the buildings to life. We can highly recommend the Scooter Tour, which for us was the highlight... More

What a great experience! We travelled to Rome with our 12 year old twin boys and Ximena gave us tours of the Vatican, Ancient Rome and Roman Forum over the course of one day, and was able to keep the boys engaged with interesting stories. Her food recommendations were excellent and everything was on the highest level in every way!

We went on three tours with Ximena - the Vatican, Baroque Rome and the Gardens of Villa d'Este in Tivoli. Ximena was friendly, knowledgeable and fun. Her engaging descriptions of the history of Rome and the stories behind the buildings and artefact really brought them to life and helped to put things in context. She readily accommodated our requests to... More

What an amazing expereince! We traveled to Italy with our 13 and 15 year old boys and wanted a tour that would keep them interested. The Coliseum and Roman Forum tour as well as the Vatican was fun and made the boys want to pay attention with all the stories. Thank you for great few days!

In late November 2014 my wife and I visited Rome, after many years, for a short break. We spent two wonderful days with Ximena, touring ancient and baroque Rome on the first day and the Vatican on the second. Nothing too stressful and a wonderful way to clothe our past knowledge of the City with a real historical and architectural... More

I took the motorino tour along with my parents (I'm 29) and it was the best desicion! It's a different way to see Rome, fun and cultural at the same time. We had headphones all the time (even on the scooters) so we didn't miss any explanation. Also, Ximena is a great tour guide, you can tell that she not... More
