Our guide Jessandria was full of faults & said sorry so many times for things that went wrong. It started with a delay because she couldn't get out tickets. Then another delay cause of a problem getting out radio headsets. Also our group grew unexpectedly so our group of 8 jumped to 15. She could not explain why some paid... More

Our tour guide Alexandra was very passionate about the stories, history and preservation of the paintings and architecture around the Vatican city. Plenty of interaction and time to look around as well as asking questions. Your was long but so interesting! Well worth the money :)

Your touts accosted is as soon as we got of the bus, with all the information about prices etc, then took us to there office, to be handed a ticket bill for €110 which I though was way to expensive, only for my hubby to heat the rep say, just book it, I asked to come back, as we had... More

Our pre booked tour at 3pm of the Vatican for another company didn't turn up. A representative of Maya Tours saw me upset & put us on their 3:30pm tour. Ribal was excellent & certainly has a passion the Vatican with some humour thrown in. I must stress how grateful we are that the rep helped us out first by... More

The Vatican Museum is a must but I highly suggest to buy your ticket or book a tour in advance in order to beat the queues outside. We took a 3 hours tour of the Museums, Sistine Chapel and Saint Peter's with an amazing guide called Alessandra. She had a Phd in Art History and she drove us through the... More

we started under a "meteorological bomb" aka lots of rain, but our guide Diego, had so much information and was so full of energy that we stick to it and did not regret it. Booking a tour is 100% worth it as you skipped all the lines, you are given a headphones and can hear the guide perfectly , even... More

Due to the weather conditions we decided to choose a tour on Vatican. We got a tour guide, Roberto, who told us so many stories, definetly I recommend.

It was some time back in December 2016/January 2017 and as of yet, I hadn't had a chance to write a review. I remember being so overwhelmed by the quality of the tour with our guide Eugene Hertoghe, that I asked him at the end of the tour how it might be possible to give him a review. He handed... More

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
