We happened to visit here during two excellent street art exhibits: an international one and one centering on the original Roman graffiti artists. The facilities were perfect for this. The museum is an extensive one, and I am sure we missed some parts, but we...More

We are interested in both contemporary art and architecture, so MACRO was a must. We were lucky that there was an interesting temporary exhibition, so we spent most of the time there, and the rest in the bar :) The museum is not so easy...More

Hanish Kapoor exhibition is stunning, if you are in Rome you have to see it!!! The museum itself is a bit jaded and frayed around the edges... We wanted to have breakfast there, but they did not have a selection of cakes to go with...More

MACRO can always be a surprise. The exhibit by ‎Anish Kapoor was strong and heartbreaking. Do not forget to go to the bathroom and enjoy the beautiful view from the lounge.

A bit on the small side, with temporary contemporary art exhibitions. NOTE - they have a branch in a re-purposed slaughter house in Testaccio, a hike away which I found to be a total waste of time. Very local, young art work in progress, in...More

I am no connoisseur of modern art and a lot it leaves me cold, but there were some very interesting pieces to be seen including works by Giacomelli. The building itself is very interesting and the staff in the shop - especially Laura - spoke...More
