Our guide was wonderful and very knowledgeable. He was also willing to answer any questions we had at all about Rome, our stay, things to do, etc. The only thing that would have made the tour a little better would be to skip out on...More

I have rarely found it necessary to provide such a low rating for any company, but City Wonders has earned this. Their disorganization is matched only by their unwillingness to solve a problem they have caused. Such as checking my son and I in for...More

Excellent tour. Early start but rewarded with a magnificent clear view of the Basilica (no other tourists in the way!). Nice breakfast but the real benefit of the early start was that the museum was relatively quiet for much of the tour. Would recommend -...More

We had an excellent time visiting Pompeii, very unique place to see. We had had our guide, Louise, for a previous tour of the catacombs in Rome and we liked her so much that we asked for her again for this tour! She was fantastic!!!...More

Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and
Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a
posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and
models while bored housewives hung out in streetside
cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the
cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to
five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law
firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to

Sorry we didn’t do a The Pompeii tour as we plan to stay near Pompeii next year as it’s a bit far from Rome to us to do on a day tour. If it’s the bus or Train station then you should have no trouble as they are both well... More

There is a lot of walking involved, but it’s all at a slow place with lots of breaks. The meeting place is right beside the Vatican museum entrance, and the Sistine chapel is inside the Vatican walls.

City wonders is great for both. The Vatican museums are so incredibly crowded so be prepared. The coliseum tour is incredible.
