We attended Easter Mass here on April 1. St. Peter’s Square is a large area directly in front of St. Peter’s Basilica and arguably the most recognizable and famous square in the world. When not crowded with the faithful for a church event, it is...More

The first thing you see is the sheer size of the square, it’s huge. The pullers buildings floor are gleaming white . It is a wonderful sight with St Peters Chapel one side the the dome of the Vatican next to it. Beautiful !!

An incredible piece of architecture where you can see the Pope on a Sunday. Large columns surround the square with St Peters Basilica in the front. Lovely to walk around and be impressed by its grandeur.

It was a quiet time when we visited. Very few people around. Take a leisurely walk around the piazza and just take in the sight. :) the lights will go on and it will be another view to see it in the evening.

It’s a historic site for Christians. Go look around just to see it in it’s grandeur. On a beautiful day, you can people watch. St Peter’s is free to enter but you must be dressed appropriately. The line is normally very long.

Fantastic square, where more than 100.000 people can stay. You can walk around and get a feeling about the Vatican city, when you enter there.
