Difficult to know what to say about St Peters and the square because so many fabulous things. This marble sculpture marks the tomb of a former pope and is a reminder of the history not just of the square but Christianity as a religion.
The tomb of Pope Urban VIII is located in St. Peter's Basilica. The marble sculpture on his tomb was created by Bernini. An outstanding masterpiece not to be missed.
