We had a lovely morning with our great guide who's English put us to shame! He was informative and funny. Seeing where all the food comes from and hearing it's history was very much interesting. We were picked up on time in a spotless vehicle and dropped off where we wanted to go at the end. My husband was feeling... More

The day we spent on this delightful foodie tour was the highlight of our vacation across Italy. The lunch + wine tasting at the Lambrusco vineyard is a must.

While my husband and I were in Modena we wanted to experience how some of our favorite foods were made. We signed up for the tour of parmigiano, salumi and basalmico. We arranged for our driver to pick up at our B&B. I thought it would be a small tour but never expected it to be just the two of... More

Our food tour out of Modena was even better than the website description. So glad we gained knowledge, met lovely locals and tasted the amazing food products of this area. If we were to visit again we would explore other opportunities with this company.

We loved our food tour with Emilia Delizia. We requested the Foodie’s Delight Food Tour and farmer’s brunch. We met our tour guide, Tommasso, in Modena and went to a parmigiano reggiano factory, a balsamic vinegar producer, a ham museum, and a winery. We loved every aspect of the parmigiano reggiano tour. It was very interesting to see how they... More

We had a couple of days in Bologna and decided to book this tour to find out more about the food we love! This tour was excellent, our guide paolo was really knowledgable and we got to taste loads of Parmesan, balsamic and meats! Definitely a great way to spend a day

Emilia Delizia FOODIE TOURS IN EMILIA-ROMAGNA – The 3 gourmet food in one day. If you decide to spend some times in Bologna, Modena or Parma you might well consider taking out the three gourmet foods in one day: typically we will visit Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese production which normally starts at around 8.30 am, then we will go to the Traditional... The highlight of the foodie tour was seeing how Parmesan Cheese was made. We also visited a balsamic vinegar distiller at a small farm. The guide Jacopo our and driver were very nice. However, I did not find the ham and sausage museum tour very worthwhile. It was OK but not that interesting.

Our tour was led by Tommasso, Paolo's son. We had a very enjoyable day learning about and sampling Parmesan cheese, local cured meats and Balsamic vinegar. Tommasso's English was very good. He was knowledgeable about the production of the many fine products as well as the region. At the end of the tour, we were dropped off at the Ferrari... More

Let me start out by say overall we were very pleased. The cheese and balsamic vinegar part of the tour was great - however the cold meat portion of the tour was a bit of a disappointment and in the big scheme of things I could have done without it. We first went to a Parmigganio-Reggiano producer and saw them... More
