It is a small square close to the center and there is an underground car parking which is just outside the TLZ zone of Bologna.

The market here is not an artisan market, but rather a regular market selling clothes, bags, food stuffs etc. which seems to be frequented by the locals.

We walked past here every day we were in Bologna and the people try to sell you their wares. It is not such a great place but I certainly had a look. Unfortunately there was nothing that I needed to clutter up my suitcase with.

Only if you are passing have a look.

From Friday morning to Saturday evening, hundreds of stalls.
Many leaders used, many in very good condition. Many stalls with extravagant clothes. Many stalls of merchandise in stock.

Nice place to buy clothes and shoes in a very low price.
I bought few clothes in funny prices. The quality is very good.

Sadly, this classic city, the site of the oldest European university, is a mess. It’s dirty, there is graffiti everywhere, littered with cigarette butts, and architecturally sad. It has a great food tradition, but not great enough to overcome its lack of cleanliness and depressing streetscapes. Visit the region. Skip the city.

An interesting market for people who like shopping for non-food stuff and more so clothes, bags and shoes! The prices are unbelievably low but you have to be careful of the quality,....check carefully before you buy. I bought my first NEW winter jacket here on a Saturday and was never disappointed.

Not sure who would enjoy this market.
It looked interesting from a distance and once amongst the stalls, which seem quite close together, it was a long fruitless search for something worth buying.
Cheapness seemed to be the common factor and the smell of marijuana drifted on the air. It was something of scrum and rather crowded.
Third world crafts mixed along with Far Eastern sweatshop clothes, leather goods and textiles.
The public toilets had a long queue and I had to pay a bouncer-type of chap to use them. Don't leave it until the last minute!
It was great to escape the claustrophobic crowds and go up to the park and see families relaxing and enjoying the sunshine.
Bologna has greater attractions than this market..

Went on Friday noon. Loads of stalls, about half selling clothes, most used. Perfect bargain hunting. Follow shops up north and into the park.
