Gorgeous Cathedral in Parma with many beautiful frescoes. In particular the cupola has one that creates the illusion of a much higher ceiling. Beautiful pipe organ, interesting chapels like small museums room inside the church.
If you are a painting lover, you must see this cattedrale which is decorated with almost painting anywhere in the interiors such as ceiling, walls, corridors, etc, almost no space empty without paintings. And All in good conditions, renovated or not renovated.
The outside is not very impressive but when you walk inside it is very beautiful. The building was built in the 11th century and has had many renovations. The side alters are very impressive as is the ceiling in the main part of the church...More

Not another church????? Yes, but this one is truly breathtaking. Art work is marvellous, side chapels are full of incredible pieces, altar is striking...in fact, if you are not moved by this place, there is something wrong!!
