We had not planned to stop in this church, but we thought the outside architecture looked unique. This a medium sized church and will not take long to walk through (as long as mass has finished). The dome & apse ceilings were the most impressive...More

Very interesting building, unfortunately it was closed when we've been here. So maybe next time... Outside by the church is monument of Parmigianino with the fountain with drinkable water.

There are Ptarmigan initial frescos in the nave but we could see little ever with binoculars. Historic, but a letdown.

We got there during the Sunday mass so we didn't feel like walking around taking pictures. The church is beautiful and looks massive from the outside.

If you're strolling down from the main station, you can't miss this so, do stop in. It is beautiful and ornate and on the way to the other attractive sites.

Happened to arrive during Mass which was nice as it was Sunday. Afterwards, spent time walking around and trying to take in all the artistic renderings. It's like a museum (a lot of Italian churches are) and would take some time to truly appreciate.
