As Danet is one of the greatest european writers, the museum in his death place, few steps from his tomb could be better equiped.

This museum provided a pleasant contrast from the mosaics, imaginatevely explaining the life and works of Dante, probably insufficiently understood by most English speaking tourists

Obviously, monuments and dead poets don't really talk. The museum allowed Dante's voice and life to ring out in a unique fashion.
