The Tiberius Bridge is over 1000 years old. I have found some explorers from University of Rome who were drilling the Walls to to identify the age of the stones used in ancient times.

The bridge itself is a fantastic example of Roma architecture and ingenuity, to have lasted 2,000 years with so few repairs is incredible. The location of the bridge means that it offers a path into one of Rimini's most interesting districts, and also looks across...More

When they talk about "a lot of water passing under the bridge" alluding to the passage of time, they could be refering to THIS bridge. Romans built it more or less 2000 years ago and it's still there, silently doing its duty and being beautiful as well!

A good example from the Roman Empire. Obviously valued by the Italians as it is part of a restoration programme. Well explained at several points around the bridge

Take a walk and leave your car in the garage - it can be quite busy around this area. It's a lovely bridge and you'r much better off "per pedes".

The bridge is a must see if you appreciate old architecture and to consider its 2000 years old and still in use is incredible, so while walking around the old town it’s definitely something to go and see.

The bridge is now surrounded by a lagoon, no longer spanning a river, but you can still walk over it, There is a beautiful landscaped area surrounding the lagoon, a lovely spot to sit and watch the world go by.

I loved the bridge and the thought that it had stood there for 2000 years. And that it is still used as a regular bridge. Wonderful.
