Choose to visit Miramare in summer afternoon, to wound around through different paths, hide between plants, reach the sea and explore the castle. Wonderful see-sights and romantic atmosphere are the features of the place

The history, the beautiful white castle in its stunning setting by the sea, the extravagance, the tragedy....definitely worth a visit. If getting the bus, ask the bus driver to let you know when to get off.....it isn't all that obvious. The grounds are lovely for...More

Worth visiting while in Trieste, very nice castle, beautiful garden with many flower arrangements and stunning views of the sea (Golfo di Trieste). The garden entrance is free (just need to pay for the car parking) while for the castle you have to pay.

Beautiful historic castle on the clif surrounded by huge garden. I would recommend to pay extra for audio guide tour - it’s really interesting! The audio guide tour takes about an hour. Castle is spectacular and the views are really magical.

When visiting this amazing palace you go from one great room to another. Built by the ill fated Maximillian in the mid 1800's, he only lived here for a few years. Then it was off to Mexico to meet his fate. The setting is fantastic...More
