We went to the tourist office and they were not very helpful. They sent us the longest way to the castle and did not refer us to a good travel agent. The just wanted to move people through the line quickly. Had good maps, otherwise not good.

When we arrived at the train station, we saw signs with arrows pointing to an information office. Every sign had an arrow pointing in a different direction. We must've spent over half an hour walking everywhere in the train station but never found an information office. To find the information office walk out of the front of the train station... More

Do go to the Trieste tourist office before anything else. I found them really helpful. Id bought a map before I travelled, but don't bother, the free one they give you is all you need. The assistant gave me lots of advice and I bought a 2 day card for 21 euros which gave me bus travel and entry to... More

When we arrived there was a long queue waiting to be attended to. However, the efficient and friendly staff soon helped everyone and provided us with a map of the city and some information about Trieste.

We used this Tourist Office when we were in Trieste early October 2016. I highly recommend this as they hire out Head Sets to do your own self-guided tour of Trieste. The headsets cost nothing but you will be asked to leave an item for exchange.

We generally get around quite well but needed guidance and the office at the Piazza Unita d'Italia was very patient and thoroughly helpful. Her English was fine, important to us.

I had found it hard to get much information on Trieste before going so our first trip was to the Tourist Office. The staff were amazing. They gave us guides, maps, bus timetables and, because we were there for 9 days, suggested we bought the museum pass and travel pass. This cost 35 euros each which seems a lot but... More

Really nice helpful lady in here with good English skills. I would ask her to feed back to the city council. CLEAN UP the old part of the city. It is horrible and full of graffiti.

If you are on the main square, than you can find it easily. They are very friendly, but besides a city map - with a lot of information - they don't have any othe touristic brochure.
