Monument to popular Austrian empress is in the middle of a small park, green island between different streets near the railway station. People run around and they don’t stop to look at the monument, bronze figure of beautiful lady and stone pedestal.

Sissi loved Treste and the memorial was made after her tragic death. It is situated in front of the train station. The only problem is that due to vincinity of the station, the square looks a bit shabby.
