Uno degli edifici storici della città raggiungibile a pochi passi da Piazza Caricamento, dà il "via" all'ingresso del centro storico. Sta ospitando la mostra del cinema.

Loggia dei banchieri

Fù costruita alla fine del 1500 per garantire ai banchieri, che fino a quel momento lavoravano in piazza, una degna sistemazione.
E' un elegante edificio rettangolare con ampi archi appoggiati su colonne. Belli gli stemmi scolpiti sulla facciata.

Un bel luogo per mostre e manifestazioni culturali

La costruzione risale ala fine del 1500. Anche se la costruzione in legno è stata sostituita da carpenteria metallica, la struttura è sostanzialmente integra: un grande spazio rettangolare con la volta sorretta da arcate.
Agli inizi era stata pensata come piazza coperta e quindi una parte dei finestroni, quelli verso piazza e via Banchi non c’erano. Divenne sede della Borsa Merci e della Borsa Valori, ma poi, nel dopoguerra venne convertita, dopo un restauro conservativo, a luogo per manifestazioni culturali e mostre. In questi giorni veniva presentato il grande attore genovese Gilberto Govi.n bel luogo per mostre e manifestazioni culturali.

Sono stato a luglio a visitare la Mostra sul Cinema, veramente interessante! Ad un prezzo contenuto è concesso fare un viaggio nel tempo ripercorrendo la storia di questa meravigliosa Arte.

Bellissima soprattutto la prima parte con gli strumenti antichi, divertente e colorata la sezione finale con gadgets e memorabilia vari.

In passato ho avuto modo di visitare qui altre interessanti esposizioni e devo dire che la Loggia dei Banchi è veramente un piccolo gioiello da conoscere e frequentare di questa città!

Il palazzo della Loggia si trova nel centro di Genova,zona Carrugi.Un edificio storico in quanto era l'ex Borsa merci o di scambio commerciale marittimo,oggi sede di mostre.Merita una visita anche veloce...

Questo edificio storico, l'Ex Borsa, è da vedere.
Spesso sede di mostre è stato anche teatro.

Die Loggia dei Mercanti (= Loge der Händler) war in früheren Zeiten der Platz der Geldwechsler und Bankiers, sie wurde vom Architekten Andrea Ceresola erbaut. Sie liegt an der Piazza Banchi, dem alten Standort des Getreidemarktes.
