Lovely waterfront, harbour and good restaurants around the town. You can take a 15 minute boat ride to Portofino, just along the coast, or even walk along the 'red carpet' pathway to Portofino (about an hour and a quarter).

We loved staying here and did the ferry to Cinque Terre. I'm definitely glad we stayed here instead of one of the towns there. We enjoyed strolling here and wandering the little streets.

I would advise any tourist to visit the area. It's just Paradise on Earth. You have close to you the famous 5 Terre and just around the corner the iconic Portofino. You can't ask for more!

We had a car and found that very easy but spoke to people who used the train and they loved it? If you have the time then suggest train as you get to see more and no worries of parking?!

We went on honeymoon it's very traditional and quieter which is why we loved it. I would chose more city or coastal
