Very nice and calm place. At the beginning it seems very small and simple, but do not be mistaken by this first impression, it has loads to show, and when after few hours walking you will think that you saw all, it is just not...More

Bergamo is very beautiful city, especially old city or Cita alta (upper town) When you are walking there you feel like any moment you will met some Renaissance artist on the narrow streets. Wonderful place

This place is full of history with great views from the old town with the Alpes in the background and lots of shops and restaurants to visit. The cable cars up are a must with great restaurants at the very top.

Took the funicular up to the old town - very steep! Lovely place. Very narrow cobbled street (in a dull Feb day it appeared dark in the narrow streets). Shops mostly all closed till 3pm. Old town Bergamo a hidden gem.
