Fantastic museum of cycling memorabilia focussing (obviously) on Italian cycling but also paying respect to the great and the history of the sport. I unfortunately wasn't on a bike, but this would be a suitable reward for completing the climb out of Bellagio.

A pretty chapel dedicated to cyclists, in a beautiful location overlooking Lake Como, 10km south of Bellagio. The Museum of Cycling is just opposite ... for sentimental cycling fans Whether or not you're a cycling enthusiast you'll be moved by the monument to the champions of the sport. Worth a detour if only for the views.

You have to visit the Madonna del Ghisallo and the museum next door, which is a tribute to the history of cycling. Get some Ghisallo cycling swag from the gift shop. It is not overpriced and worth having as a souvenir of your cycling efforts!

If you are a cyclist or enjoy cycling, this small church is a must make a detour and visit. Regardless, if you are in the area this is a worth a stop. Quant chapel where cyclists, including legendary ones have left offerings. It is perched over Bellagio, and worth a drive to enjoy the views.

Cyclists will enjoy the museum, a slightly disorganised trove of vintage and/or weird bikes. Anyone will enjoy the views, or popping into the cycling-themed church.

This is an amazing place, even if you are not a cyclist. The road from Bellagio seems to have endless hairpin bends but the trip is worth it for the view at the top. Visit the church and the cycling museum too!

The Madonna del Ghisallo and the adjacent museum are a must-see for cyclists and anyone who appreciates the sport. The memorabilia makes this a stop unlike any other.

After years of waiting, finally made the "pilgrimage" to the patron saint of cycling. The ride up from Bellagio was in 3 sections - 4.5 miles of a tough climb, a mile of flatter section before the last mile or so to the church. Well worth it. The church is fantastic with lots of memorabilia from all ages of cycling.... More
