Is very easy to walk the Center of Como: is not too big and pleasant! Plenty of bars and restaurants and lovely shops (few antiquities one are really nice) and I felt safe all the time without being harassed.

Like all centro storico, there are a lot nice palazzos to amire, theatre, italian atmosphere, nice shops and cafe-restaurants; nice to stroll in the ancient streets, all near the lake with amazing view.

Delightful pedestrian area full of shops, restaurants, etc. Enjoyable stroll for 4 hours or more. You almost forget you-re in the city.

What a great town to visit, the walking path around the Lake Como is beautiful, with nice restaurant/caffes. It has a playground next to the lake for kids. Lots of places to sit and relax.

Although Como is a nice little town, we really didn't think it compared to other towns we've visited on the lake. It has a nice harbor and some fine buildings and architecture, but I would choose to visit the towns in the center of the...More
