Don't miss this for the bars and the shops. It's full of history and atmosphere and an age of old glass and wood that could tell many a story. You will find your special place here.

Very beautiful church , with high ceilings in the Gothic style , with several side chapels ornated with paintings and statues . Wonderful tapestries hanging on the side aisles , I think of the French school , perfectly preserved . An austere atmosphere made lighter...More

This is a landmark in Como. Our sightseeing guide took us here and showed us the square around the place. This cathedral is nice and ornate inside. We spent some time inside to look around.

This landmark cathedral is within a short walk from the Como Lago train station. We toured it on our way to catch the ferry to Bellagio near Piazza Cavour. It’s cavernous and somewhat ornate inside but certainly not as glamorous as the one in Milan....More

The whole town of Como is a picturesque lake side town, and this Dumo is it's perfect centerpiece. Pedestrian only (well, kind of) streets surround the building. Its exterior is magnificent but the best part is the richly detailed ceiling on the interior. Definitely a...More

Worth a visit if you get a chance while in Como. The Cathedral is a 5 minute walk from the Como bus station. We were invited to donate €1 on entering which goes towards the upkeep of the cathedral. Worth remembering that it is a...More

The tourist entrance is used when the Duomo is in Service so non-participating guests will not interrupt the religious program.
