One of the main historical attractions in Como, I personally think it's underrated. Outside and inside this cathedral is beautiful. Take your time to visit this dramatic attraction.

When I see magnificent edifices such as a cathedral, my first thought is about what could have been done with all the resources that were used to build it. (Call me a heathen--or sacrilegious. Maybe they let the homeless of their age sleep in it)...More

We visited the Cathedral after Easter when tourists were just starting to visit. You need to buy your ticket in the ticket office next to the Cathedral. There are many ticket options- there is a fast track option for jumping the queue but this cost...More

After a disappointing lunch in the piazza in front of the duomo we were very happy with the decision to look inside the Duomo. Spectacular. As with most Italian church visitors it is free to enter. A discrete sign suggests a one euro donation after...More

We walk around Como until to find the Como Cathedral. It’s very beautiful and we had lunch just in front of it. There is a lot of people playing music around that makes the place special

We walked around the outside of the cathedral whilst waiting for our Lake Como ferry. The external architecture is beautiful and the location perfect, with some narrow shopping streets running of the central square in front of the building. There are several restaurants in the...More

On a drizzly day we walked around the outside of the cathedral and it lightened the sky. Beautiful architecture in a lovely part of the city. Surrounded by interesting old streets and shops. Stunning.
