Make your way all the way to the very top of this castle and you will enjoy amazing panoramic views. The castle itself is not well preserved but enough to walk through and enjoy. The dugout boats in the entry were fascinating. A must do...More

This is a well preserved castle with moat and drawbridge. The climb up the main tower provides a gorgeous view of the lake and old town.

Well worth the 6 Euro entrance fee - gets really busy so would recommend going early or later in the day when the crowds have left. Excellent viewpoint for local area and has a good affinity with times past when it was the fortified entrance...More

Verona, famous for the fictional story of star crossed lovers immortalised by Shakespeare...or is it a fable? This tower lauds it over the entrance to one of the most beautiful cities in Italy, and the truth about R and J is as amazing as anything...More

Cool view of sirmione from the top, the castle is really well preserved and nice to walk in. Baby strollers are left in the entrance as you need to climb stairs..

We took the train to Densenzano. It was on a Sunday so there may be a different schedule on weekdays. Then took a taxi to the Spa. There may be public transport but can't help you on that. Definitely worth a visit!
