We did not have time to climb the tower but walking around it was well worth it. It is amazing how this mighty XIII century tower survived many ages and remained so authentic and untouched. It is even more atmospheric when lit up at night:...More

Great atmosphere! No pressure, no one running at you to get you into their cafe. Life music in the evening :)

Went here as part of a tour. Ok, it’s €6 to go in and there isn’t much to see. BUT the views are well worth it. For a better experience take a boat ride around the outside. Much clearer view of the whole place.

Take time to walk around the outside of this building and read the info boards. Amazing the way it was built in the 13th Century. Watch out for the delivery trucks trying to get around the narrow streets as they keep going however close they...More

The Rocca is a fantastic building, but what you see from the outside is more or less it. Inside there is not a lot of information but the main purpose of the visit is to look out over the ramparts and in particular to climb...More

Lovely place to visit on a clear sunny day. The castle almost looks like a child’s fort in design! No explanation boards on the various parts of the castle was available in English or any other language. The views as you go up to the...More

We were expecting another medieval fort, and that's what we got- until we climbed the tower and had an amazingly breathtaking 360 view of the lake and the peninsula. Ask for a combined admission to the Grotte, save 6 euro.

Took the kids to the top of the tower. The stairs are modern and easy to climb. Great views from the top in all directions.

We took the train to Densenzano. It was on a Sunday so there may be a different schedule on weekdays. Then took a taxi to the Spa. There may be public transport but can't help you on that. Definitely worth a visit!
