Not much to look at after queuing for 30 minutes. Joint ticket with the Grotte di Catullo. Looking round the dock area would have been interesting but that was closed for repair work. No visitor circuit in evidence - a lot of doubling back.
Quite a steep climb to reach the castle, but well worth it. There are wonderful views of Lake Garda and Malcesina from the tower - be prepared for lot of steps! The castle has a small but very interesting museum about the German poet Goethe's...More
Travelled from Verona by train then bus to the Castle and well worth the effort.
