I didn't want to go on the rollercoatser, my boyfriend did but I wasn't going to wuss out on this one. Even after we landed at the top of the mountain and all I could here was maniacal screaming in the distance! I'm glad I...More

Judging by the laughter and screams people were really enjoying this ride. Adrenalin , but safe for toddlers upward with adult.

We took the cable car up to Mt Mottarone to the Alpyland gardens. You can go further again to the summit if you want, 4892ft. If you are the daredevil type take the bob cart ride back down. The alpine fardens were just lovely, as...More

My husband was grinning like a kid after riding the Alpyland slide. For only 5 Euros, it's a really fun, thrilling ride with incredible views of the lakes and the Alps.

Rapid, mostly self-controlled toboggan ride... might feel bruising on first encounter but you'll want to have another go... and let the brake go a bit more. Besides, the views from Mottarone on a clear-enough day are breathtaking.

After taking the cable car to the top of Mottarone and walking off the early breakfast it was a great treat to have a fun packed ride at Alpyland... Cars can take single or double occupants and it's well worth the modest fare for so...More

If you have a clear day, this trip is really great. At the top,you get some spectacular views as well as a perspective of the area. Make sure you are aware of the last car down if you go late in the day.

After our trip up the mountain, my husband insisted on riding these bobsleds. I decided to take pictures as he indulged his inner child. From the look on his face, I'd say he had a great time. The views from the top of the mountain...More

We are planning on going to Stresa next summer with a group of scouts aged 13-17 and this seems like a fun stop. We will also have a 2 year old and other younger children with our group. I know children under 4 can not go down the sled track but can she get into the park? Would it be possible for a family to up and down the sled track and trade off holding the toddler? Also, I'm not clear if there just one ride or more than one? Trying to establish if we can stay together or if the toddler can not even get into Alpyland? Also is there a closed cable car (appropriate for a 2 year old) easily available to get to Alpyland? Thank you in advance!
