Any visit to Mantova should include a visit to this beautiful opera house. Away from the Main Street it is easy to miss, but seek it out and it will be worthwhile.

This must be the mother of all opera houses - small and intimate, great proportions, fabulous acoustics. Concerts during winter months only. Breathes opera history - Mozart performed a concert at age of 14. MUST see!!!!
