Neighbourhood: Navigli
The Navigli is part of historic Milan. In the ancient days, the entire city was linked with canals, similar to Venice. Today, most of the canals are gone, but the Navigli remains a canal-based neighborhood. There are two major canals: Naviglio Pavese and Naviglio Grande. The Naviglio Grande's bridges greet visitors at dusk with an amazing view. The Navigli district specializes in clubs, cafes, and vintage shops. Lifestyle reigns supreme here. You can start the walk from the Colonne di San Lorenzo, an antique colonnade in front of the Basilica di San Lorenzo. During the daytime, this place acts as a meeting point for artists and students reading books or chatting with friends; the nights turn it into a stepping-stone for club hoppers. Science lovers will also relish the opportunity to visit the Science and Technology National Museum Leonardo Da Vinci, showcasing inventions of the Italian genius.

Fantastic place for live music. Small venue, small stage, bigger atmosphere. English couple who seek live music everywhere we go and this place comes high on our list. 5 minutes from metro. Highly recommended.

We loved the fact that the place was located away from Central Milano, so we could enjoy the commute nightlife and cross the canal bridges. We wanted originally to listen to Jazz at the BlueNote, but it was sold-out so we found Nidaba Theatre and what a treat that was! They had a great band with an amazing lead singer on stage singing various funky/soul/jazzy tunes and it just gave the night a nice atmosphere and made it more fun!
Free entrance and you can read more about their show programs online. We arrived at the place at 9PM and were lucky to find a table spot for 4 people, so be there in good time unless you don't mind of standing.

We had a great time on november 2nd seeing a blue grass band, I did think they played too many commercial type blue grass but the atmosphere made up for it and they were good musicians. The staff there are terrific and the whole atmosphere is friendly and fun. I would recommend highly, do be sure to get there an hour before a show to get a seat as it is small and fills up quickly. Enjoy.

The hosts are great (Max and Barbara), beer is perfect and the atmosphere is amazing, with incredible live music. And it's easy to make some local friends at the bar counter.

I made the reservation from Madrid and it was a total success, when you enter you already notice that the club has something special, the staff are charming, good beer (€7) and the HOLEBONES concert is impressive.
