Amazing shopping, breathtaking architecture and wonderful restaurants. There are small sculptures and carvings in some areas near the ceiling that are not noticeable unless you sit down and take it in for a while.

We spent a bit of time here on our trip to Milan, and were duly impressed. Having a drink at a café just as you enter the Galleria was (of course) incredibly expensive, but still worth doing. Also had lunch at a very good restaurant...More

Maybe most interesting thing to see and visit in Milano. Not much to do over there except if you have huge amount of money to spend shopping in luxurious stores.

We strolled through Galleria Vittorio Emanuele on our way to the Duomo. It houses premium designer labels as well as tourist friendly eateries. Have an espresso while people watching and appreciate this impressive architecture.

Not to be missed. Shopping or window shopping it is a must do. The architecture itself is worth seeing. The cafes and restaurants are great to hang out in and people watch!

As it was right next to the Duomo we looked in. It is impressive and architecturally very pleasing. Every top of the range shop to visit and lovely places to sit and watch the world go by.

Lots of shops ranging from designer labels to everyday. A great place to escape from the rampant Italian smokers.

to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria
Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high
quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch
expedition into a royal experience. Head to the
rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the

Was there in September and everything was open. This is a large center with some very high end shops, so I would doubt any would close.

I don't know. We went there as part of a city tour run by the Milan Visitor Centre. You might want to contact them. Their tours were fantastic. Best tour I have ever done. Cheers Linda
