Very pleasant city park

It looks nice and expansive and green and friendly and inviting. It is opposite the art museum. It seems to me that It's worth a visit to stroll and relax

These gardens lie north of the Villa Reale, one of the royal manors when Italy was a monarchy - now an Art Gallery. Apart from relaxing in a wide green area with a fountain and a small lake, you can visit the Museum of Natural History - recommended, very cheap for what it's worth. There is also a Planetarium -... Not so big park but inside some very nice and special places with several special tree species to check and take photos under low laying branches near water. We found great places to hide out from the busy streets.

These public gardens are a quiet place just next to the nice busy street called corso de Buenos Aires. The park is wide, clean. There are playgrounds for kids, water areas and also two places to visit: the planetarium and the museum of natural sciences.

Time to relax in the middle of a city. Natural history museum also located in this park. Beautiful find.good shade from the many trees. Walk into the centre and there's a small merry go round for younger children and a great cafe selling food drinks and Icereams. Further inside is a lake with ducks and fish. Lots of people enjoying... More

Hardly recommended in The heart of The city center, good for walks and reading, for an aperitivo or for running and fitness too. The nice posh park of porta Venezia, even though you can jump on any human type, not just snobs.

It is not a garden, it is a small park, good for a jogging maybe, but not for tourism itself. Inside, there are some museums (like Science and Tech Museum) but the garden itself is quite a normal park, nothing compared to Sempione. It is worth it if you cross him to reach the other side of the city or... More

If your are looking for a green escape in inside the city, you should visit that park. Its located very close to the old city center and you can take a walk and relax under the trees. It has also space for kids.

Staying in Brera

Neighbourhood Profile
Brera captures the real essence of the city. It is an excellent mix between history and modernity, where tradition meets innovation. Here design and beauty reign. On Via Brera there are the famous Pinacoteca (galleries), the National Gallery of Modern and Antique Art, and the Academy of Fine Arts. Interior design boutiques and intellectual cafes are typical of the district. Walking along Via Madonnina is a must to admire the architecture of buildings and the design stores. On Sundays, going to the local market is an unmissable opportunity for fashion, style and art. Tucked away, there is the Orto Botanico di Brera botanical garden that seems like a painting framed in an ancient fairy structure. Last but not least, it’s worth a visit to Giardini Pubblici Indro Montanelli with its Planetarium, the Civico Museo di Storia Naturale (Natural History Museum).
