Leonardo De Vinci’s painting of the last super is magnificent. Superbly composed and with such expressions. Interesting to contrast his method of painting with the more “usual” method used for the other major painting at the other end of the room. Definitely worth a visit...More

If you arrive earlier wait in the church, the cloister is also nice and very peaceful. There are 2 paintings. Take time to admire both.

The Cenacolo was the highlight of my trip to Milan. I would strongly recommend to spent time on booking tickets in advance. Surprise : Pictures are allowed inside !!! There is another beautiful fresco in the room, The Crucifixion by da Montorfano.

Tickets for my dates sold out online two months in advance so I called them direct in Italy, two months before the date to get tickets. Tour groups can be booked last minute online. More expensive but usually available.
