This mushroom-like shaped skyscraper was built between 1956-58 and is located in the historical center of Milan. It's 106 m tall with 26 floors and is a modern interpretation of a Lombard style medieval castle tower. The hideous looking structure apparently satisfied the space requirements...More

Not something that can be avoided whilst in Milan. Greeted to this eyesore each morning from my room in Uptown Palace Hotel. Only saving grace was if we were lost we could look for this on the skyline and find ourway back to the hotel.

No need to get near it (and it is under repair now), better view when seen from some distance, e.g. Duomo roof.

I think it is an interesting building. Maybe not the most beautyful in Milan, but it is special kind of architecture.

Not sure why this is even listed as a place to visit. It's an office / apartment building. I used to work in one of the offices in this building. Nothing to see here.

It's one of the most famous building in Milan. Honestly I hate it, it's ugly and this year it has been elected as one of theugliest buildings in the world (finally).
