I really, really like markets. And this one is great. Huge choice in fruits, vegetables, meat and cheese. But also clothing, soap, flowers, antique,... A very vibrant atmosphere that both locals and tourists can enjoy.

We enjoy markets and this is huge and fun. As usual, watch out for pickpockets, but that's standard advice in big markets. There's something for everyone but what it amazing is to stick around after the market closes and watch how it is broken down,...More

We visited the fruit and vegetables part, open air. We found a great variety and good prices, even better offers. The clothing part is like a low version of Oriental bazaar, probably best avoided.

This is the biggest open air market in Europe. And as such you can walk for hours on end looking at different stalls and choosing what's going to be next on your menu. If that's not interesting enough, the sellers are friendly and as usual...More

Huge food market on a Saturday with amazing fruit and veg. Seems to be never ending and was a real eye opener for someone used to British supermarkets. Unfortunately, the rest of the market is pretty grotty, cheap goods some unpleasant people and not a...More

So glad we walked through this emporium of gastronomy, although it will really make you regret you don't have a kitchen to go cook all this beautiful food. This is where the restaurants and locals shop for the best stuff. The red meat of Piemonte...More

I'm sure at the right time of year it's brilliant. WE ended up here by mistake took a wrong turn after viewing The Cathedral. it's supposed to be one of the great markets of the World.
