The Museum is one of the most important of its kind in the world thanks to it vast collection and the many different scientific and educational activities it carries out. But what makes it truly unique is its special exhibit setup. The museum is located inside the Mole Antonelliana, a bizarre and fascinating monument which is the symbol of the City of Torino. And the various areas inside the Mole Antonelliana were the starting point for the Swiss set designer François Confino who, with talent and imagination, multiplied the museum's itineraries. He created a spectacular presentation that offers visitors continuous and unexpected visual and acoustic stimuli, just like when we watch a film that involves and moves us.

The books built this museum up so much but it really wasn't that impressive. There are some interesting things such as the invention of cinema and how it progressed but beyond that not much is there. We sat down and watched a few movies, saw some old posters and spent ages battling with school students as they took up the... More

The museum of cinema is a really interesting place to visit if you want to know all about the history of the 7th art. The museum is really modern, and is an interactive experience! There is a lot to see, our visit lasted 3 hours.

It's just fantastic. They take you from the days before cinema all the way through the digital age. Amazing interactive parts and don't miss the poster gallery and the couches on the main floor. Watching the ceiling light show and elevator is so relaxing. This is a 100% must do. We spent a bit under 2.5 hours. Get there at... More

Not afraid of heights? Take the elevator to the viewing deck for a view of the city of Turin. Then visit the excellent cinema exhibition and museum. One of the best surprises that should be a must see when visiting Turin.

Set aside a few hours so that you can sit in the main area and watch the creatively curated film clips, then walk through the permanent exhibition without rushing through.

The museum is well organized and very interesting, however its accent is on Italian cinema, and for tourists may appear a bit boring. It still contains the classics. Anyway, it is a nice 2-3 hour break from the hot summer in Turin, or perfect for a rainy day getaway.

A must see, if only for the ride in the lift and the view of the surrounding mountains. All the exhibits were interesting and well laid out within the building.
