We arrived at the museum at 3:10pm one afternoon and headed in to get tickets. When we got there the ticket staff said that you can only go in if you're on a tour. We hadn't realised this so asked what time the tour was and he said it was 3pm. I asked that given the time and the fact... More

Very interesting tour in a real prison, that was used also during the fascist period and by German occupation forces just after the end of WW2. In about 2 hours, you can visit several sections of the prison and learn the story of many victims of past regimes. I really recommend it also for children: a real lesson of history... More

The prison is really interesting, however you won't get too much if you don't know Italian. The tour guide speaks only Italian, No audio guide, and on the boards inside you won't find even one English word! The ticket office will provide you with some notes in English, But the info is nothing in comparison with information tour guide is... More

I was expecting a tour of an old jail, but this 3-hour visit was so much more. We had a great guide bring us through the prison and give us so much history and context. This jail is full of stories of resistance fighters and victims of the Fascist regime, and it was a sobering and powerful experience to visit... More

I was curious to see an actual prison and I found the place very interesting. You only can visit on guided tours that happens every day at 15 o'clock and you don't need to book, just show there on time. Actually, I tried to get some information by phone, but a machine answered and I've been on the same day... More

One of the most interesting things to do in Turin. The prison is run by a voluntary organisation who "rescued" the prison after it was left to rot when all the offices were moved elsewhere in 03. Can only enter with a guide and the visit takes two hours.
