The armory is beautiful by the room itself, the quantity and quality of the artefacts. Several taxidermized horses that belong to the kings of Savoy enhance the impressive collection. Many shields, swords and armors are exquisitely made. A must see part of the royal museum.

This is an amazing room, even without all the magnificent collection of swords & lances.
It must have taken years to build.
Who was the architect or architects; surely, one man cannot create all this.
So impressive

With lot of arms, this is one of the most important colletions around Europe.
It's a tribute to a period that has written a lot of books, and made history.
From teens to adults, this museum will not let you indifferent, there are so many pieces that will make you admire them while walking for the corridor.
From guns to swords, armors, etc, there are so many things to admire.

Armeria Reale is the Royal armory room located inside the Palazzo Reale di Torino (Royal Palace). It is for me the best room in the museum. Really, it is incredible, amazing! It is a long room with a lot of objects and very well decorated. You can see some armors, weapons and some other objects in all room. Really, it is awesome, especially when you enter from the previous room. Fantastic! Top in the museum!

Part of the Royal Palace, the Armory is an exemplar of its type. From Ancient Greek to 19th century Japanese, there's something for everyone who likes this sort of thing. The whole palace tour is over 3 km long!

The heart of the city. This busy square houses the Royal Palace Museum, the tourist office, several churches and the Art museum. Plus, the open top tourist bus starts and ends here. There are fountains in the main square, plus often outdoor concerts. Always lively and good for people watching.

Attached to Turin's Royal Palace, on Piazza Castello, the Royal Armory contains a wide variety of historical weapons and armor, as well as many stuffed horses in full regalia. It is quite impressive, to behold its long galleries. However, unless you're a weapons and armor aficionado, plan on spending less than one hour there. The admission ticket for it also includes admission to the Royal Palace, Galleria Sabauda and Museo di Antichità (Archaeological Museum.) As a matter of fact, one can easily visit all four attractions in one day, still stopping for lunch at a nearby restaurant.

We enjoyed touring the Armeria Reale after visiting the Royal Palace. My favorite area was the room with the horses and knights in armor. It's an outstanding collection. We spent some time in the gardens as well, where there are comfortable lounging chairs where you can rest, nap, or have a picnic.

Very much enjoyed the collection which was well-curated w good explanatory notes - large collection of armoured horsemen n footmen from different ages n regions, weapons of war and antique rifles n pistols - and how Italian craftsmen were very much at the forefront of developing n producing such weapons - they were fearfully beautiful. And on a sunlit afternoon, the gallery housing them was truly stunning. Good complement to the other outstanding exhibits at the Royal Palace.

Have been to several museums displaying armour but this is the most impressive. Despite the horror aspect of violent death by using these weapons its housed in a light and bright hall with amazing painted ceiling.Like most visitors the horses were the thing that impressed me most. They are a wood base and real horse skin but look so authentic.

Ciao.. Volevo sapere con 1 unico biglietto cosa posso vedere? Armeria reale, la chiesa dove è posta la sacra sindone?
Written January 19, 2020
