The panoramic view from the church over looking the city of Turin set in the foreground of the alps is breathtaking. We had the good fortune of clear crisp weather and it was well worth the detour. The rating is based on the view from the church

I think that 99% of people that climb to this church do it for the views that offers of the city of Turin.
Really, really are the most spectacular views you can have of Turin, and if you are luck and there is few people, something quite impossible, its so relaxing that you won't wnat to leave.
Its not quite hard to climb, but be prepared, and thake your time. And of course, your camera.

We walked over the Ponte Vittorio Emanuel I, which has lovely views up and down the river then up the hill this church at the top. The views of the city were beautiful, with the Alps in the background, and a great way to orient yourself in the city. After we;d walked back down the hill we crossed the bridge again and walked along the river bank towards Parco Del Valentino. Just lovely!

This is a great place to get a superb view right across the city. You can get a bus from the city centre to the base of the hill which leaves you with a steep-ish (take the route up through the park - it's slightly shorter) but reasonably short walk up to the church. The church itself is also beautiful with a stunning Madonna and Child forming the backdrop to the alter.

This is where you go to get the postcard views of Turin. I went up around sunset. There were plenty of other people up on the terrace taking selfies, but nobody blocked my view or anything. It was really cool getting to see the street lights turn on once it got dark enough (and made for some good photos too!).

The church is nice but the real attraction is the observation platform in front of it that allows for great views over Turin. It's a bit to walk but it worth the effort.

It really is worth walking over the bridge and up to this church for the view. It;s a nice walk, thru a park up to the view point. Snow capped mountains off in the distance, etc.

This small church has two big advantages: is suited on the hill which allow you to appreciate the phanorame of the city and is really gorgeous inside. Worth to see.
