Sometimes, you've got places in a city that you cannot miss. Well, this is one than you can easliy mss. We walked at the opposite side of the street, were looking at the Kurhaus, but didn't notice this place at all in the beginning. On our way back, we saw what was happening between the small sliding entrance doors and decided to take a look inside. It is PUR indeed, lovely and tasteful South-Tyrolean products, like cheese, ham, the famous 'speck', wines etc. etc. A bit more expensive than the local supermarket, but therefore everything is fresh and of excellent quality. And it's bice that you can sit down and have a drinks and something to eat.…

We stopped by for a mid-morning snack - excellent choice of organic food - cheese, veggies... fantastic bread... really good coffee! The portions are really generous, so can be shared - which makes them really affordable.

Aside from selling the best speck ever (in my opinion), it is also an excellent place to have a quick lunch. The ingredients are top notch, the service fast and professional. The restrooms are always clean. Every time I go to Meran, it is a must! Always a pleasure!

My wife & I were recommended this shop as a place to buy local foodie gifts and wines from the Alto Adige region in Italy. A lovely little market shop in merano town centre so good for general shopping and next to the underground car park. Great for Wine,Oil,Biscuits,Pasta etc.
