I have only to enjoy in this plentiful square during the evening after the congess. Full of people, enjoying in small coffees and restaurants drinking good Italian wine.

If you love Christmas time this is a must visit. On your way to this wonderful open piazza where you can still feel encircled by the surrounding mountains, you will pass Christmas markets, shops, vine brûlée stands and lovely decorations. The duomo itself is a wonderful gothic cathedral and worth a peek inside.

This beautiful piazza is in the heart of old Trento. With the fabulous fountain in the centre it is a meeting place for everyone. Often there are markets and festivals taking place and there is always an air of excitement. At Christmas they project falling snowflakes on the surrounding buildings making it so magical. The cafes are always busy and... More

Lovely place to get a morning coffee or an aperetivo, or dinner. I love coming here to have a spritz and people watch :) This area is very lively during summer and during holidays. One of my favorite gelato places is on the piazza, it's called Grom. The fountain is glorious and very pretty on a sunny day.

One of the main squares on Trento, it is typical of many Italian towns. Beautiful area surrounded by many historical and architecturally interesting buildings. There is a nice central fountain as well with the usual cafes, restaurants and shops.

Old town but full of energy. Shops variety is large from basic food store to luxury goods. Good food and lot of restaurants.
