Charming and Historic

This beautiful church is the history of Aosta. Be sure to visit the courtyard next door. The carved altar seating is beautiful.

Externally there is a nice cloister, with different decorations on each column. Internally, among the rest, a piece of ancient mosaic on the floor that by itself is worth the visit.

At certain times (ask at the information office) some volunteers from the church accompany you to the attic, where few frescoes are still visible after the remodeling of the church has hidden. It's an interesting and exciting visit that let you see the building from the top. The nearby cloister is just as beautiful.

The Church is a must-see but everything around it as well, such as the tower in front, the cloisters next door, and especially the FRESCOES. Only problem is that they seem to be open only for the summer season nowadays. The Priory is also remarkable for its use of brick. Anyway, it's free and picturesque.

Beautiful XV century church with a lovely cloister adjacent. Nice square, with a very old tower. Peaceful.

I like the facade of the church with its red brick trim. Inside, it is light filled. The vaulted ceiling is special. When you go up close to the altar, you can appreciate the carvings on the wooden seats surrounding it. These must have been for the choir. There are numerous animals and human figures carved under seats and on... More

Spend spome time to see the old monastery and the church. It is certainly one of Aosta's highlights.

Really nice to see. You can take really nice photos. Nothing special and it is not like teatro romano but because of fair, it is good to know who was saint orso.

The cortile attached to this church is medieval and is very beautiful. The column capitals contain some of the most interesting Gothic carving outside France.
