Visit the park in may 2016. Start from Lillaz. The tracks can be anything from two hours total and up to some really challenging full day tracks. We walked in the valleys and it was amazing. Highly recommended!!

Start your trips from Cogne or Lillaz. The hikes can be anything from two hours total and upto some really challenging full day trips. We walked in the valleys from the two villages and it was amazing. Highly recommended!! Can be done without hiking boots but it's easier with boots.

Lillaz waterfalls - beautiful waterfalls and although the hike is steep there is also a track in the valley suitable for the less able. Pont - Valsavarenche - We did route number 3 from Pont to the hut (a hike of about 2.5-3... More

Beautiful nature, lots of great mountain views and a great variety of hiking trails with clear but not disturbing signs and markings.

Visited Gran Paradiso National Park in May 2016, near Valsaverenche for work, and travelled a bit around. The park is ideal if you want to see Ibex (very easy to see) and Chamois. It's perfect for walks and the scenery is truly stunning. Truly recommended.

The Gran Paradiso is a large park with great views. We spent time at the Lillaz waterfall and hiked all the way to the top. The views were great and the hike was fun. It is a great way to spend a few hours to explore the park.

It's a beautiful place, as the name says, it's like heaven. 3km walk from the beautiful village of Cogne, the park has amazing hikes, river, waterfalls et al. Absolutely loved the region, food and people. Highly recommended

One of the most beautiful natural parks I've seen, rich in fauna and flora, still wild especially in the places away from the beaten paths
