A great example of a busy and beautiful basilica. We were particularly pleased with the excellent wheelchair access and ramps to all parts of the church - this is a rare thing to find in such an old building and we much appreciated it. Thanks!

forget about the basilica Sant marco in Venice this place is a real treasure trove full of amazing art works. For the religious minded there is the added attraction of being able to have close contact with the remains of the saint buried here while the rest of us can just marvel at the beauty of it all.

It's a nice place on the edge of the Vatican City with a great view of most of Rome and the Saint Peter's Basilica. It has a good combination of art - Ancient Roman and Egyptian - and military history which makes the attraction more varied than some of the other Romans sights.

Much of the exterior and interior was covered as work was being completed. We did get to see the 'lingua' though. There were very many people touring and many more attending mass or receiving special benediction.

We always come here when in the area as it is such a lovely church with loads of people queueing up to ask for help from St Anthony. Will always remember Easter mass here one year- standing room only!

A must visit place in Padova. Impressive Romanesque central section with aisles spreading out. One of the very popular spots as well with a lot of hotels and other establishments bordering the Church.
