This could be one of the largest and most beautiful squares of Italy. The calming sensation, sculptures, sounds of running water blended with the sights of couples sitting on the grass all with a background of gentle bustling sounds of the flea market nearby make this place unforgettable. This is a must in Padova even if you have to cancel... More

This is supposed to be the largest square in Europe. Yes it is very large with small stream , pathways an pond. The nice green grass and tall trees with leeves has a great combination. Only issue was when we visited on a Saturday there was a fare and had stalls around the square. Hence was a bit crowded.

I am here for a kind of business. It is so nice to walk around this area after working time. It is a huge place that you instantly come across while you are walking in the city streets.

It's a very large park in the center of the city full of couples sitting in the grass and people walking around. Near the park you can find a flee market we call it "plac" or "buvljak" and you can see natural fruits and vagetables it's kind of small market but you can also by chlothes and shoes. The bridge... Interesting park, surrounded by statues all over, which was beautiful and slightly creepy at the same time :) I didn't like the pave on the ground (rubble) - it was a bit inconvenient and kind of made the atmosphere not very cozy, at least for me. Would be nice to walk around on a sunny day tough. :)

It's absolutely a must if you are nearby. You can find it very crowded on Saturday morning for the open market or so romantic and silent late in the evening. Full of history and architecture.

It is a very beautify place in the center of the old city. It is a very large park with a lot of green space surrounded by many beautiful buildings. It has symmetrical water features with statues and bridges. Sunday thru Friday it is a very calming place. Saturday it hosts a very large market. We enjoy it even on... More

this is a lovely large park-like area, elliptical and surrounded by statues and a moat. Nice to walk through, sit in or read. It is difficult to read the inscriptions on the statues, so one never knows who they are, but that really may not matter.
