We spent the entire morning in the Orto Botanico, strolling, sitting, reading, photographing and more strolling. Even though it wasn't the best time of year to visit since most flowers bloomed earlier this summer and spring we had a lovely time BUT we exited with...More

This botanical garden is historic as well as natural. It was founded in the 1500s by the university of Padova. There are beautiful formal herb gardens forming a circle of various beds of different types of plants, all anchored by soothing water features. I was...More

We visited these gardens with no expectations and were really impressed with the Garden of Biodiversity. Seeing plants curated by country was very informative and the interactive information points along the way were excellent. The gardens themselves were lovely too and a great way to...More

Were looking forward to this place, but it left us disappointed. Entree fee is 10 euros per person, which is excessive for what we got. It's large, the greenhouse part is nice and modern, with lots of information. The outside is odd, with rows of...More

According to our guide, this is the oldest academic botanical garden in the world, still sited in its original location. A pleasant walk inside looking at plants from around the world, wonderfully maintained, well worth a visit

This botanical garden is close to the city center, and provides a pleasant walk though a highly diverse set of plants from around the world. The environmental science building was not particularly special, but a nice bonus.

Great to see if you are interested in plants and history. Not a "pretty" garden but rather a scientific garden. Wifi for the bored regazzi. A pleasant walk among well labeled plants and trees.

This is the most ancient botanic garden in Europe. It was in disrepair until it was restored two years ago. Beautiful and clearly labelled plants. The modern tropical areas are well integrated. Will visit again
