The roof terrace at Fondaco dei Tedeschi is one of the best-kept secrets in Venice. You can see in both directions around the bend in the Grand Canal, and across the rooftops in all directions. And it's free. Plus, if you book online you jump...More

The folks at the doors here act as if they are secret service agents. Today, they treated my sister very poorly after they had made an error. This is not typically how the Venetians treat people- they are gracious, engaging, and kind. This new store...More

If not for the shopping but for the rooftop view of the city. Shopping is mid to high end. Loved a quick walk through but really went for the view on the top of the mall.

Highly recommend booking a time on the roof to see the magic of Venice from above, without the crowds below. Plus the store is lovely to shop as well.

This should certainly be considered a “hidden gem”. We only found out about it because of our gondolier! The shopping centre itself is somewhat special, with various high end brands to shop ranging from Gucci to Cartier. But the icing on the cake is the...More

Enjoy the building with exclusive shops and a darkred escalator. Very special design by Dutch architect Rem Koolhaas. Don’t miss the rooftop view.

Apart from the fantastic department store which is just stunningly beautiful the real reason for this location is the breathtaking views over Venice from the top floor roof terrace. Book your time online or make a purchase and enjoy this great spot.
