We ended up going to the Accademia twice because of 2 separate exhibits on 2 different days. Worth every penny. Plus, they have wonderful bathrooms.

Was in walking distance of here and I enjoy this area. So many things to do, eat, people watch and shop.

It’s usually a crowded scene but the central boat stop for the major art treasures of the Accademia (classic) & Guggenheim (modern). It’s also adjacent to one of the few bridges across the Grande Canal, so you can walk back easily to the St Marks...More

If you are staying in Accademia neighbourhood then you will get use to the stroll across this bridge offering some great views, particularly down to Ca Maria Della Salute. For best photos early in the morning I would recommend not just to avoid the crowds...More

We walked here from Piazza San Marco. Quite charming and along the back street routes towards Rialto. Lots of larger squares with restaurants and quite a different atmosphere. Super little restaurant at the foot of the steps with charming waiters.

Best view in Venice imho as long as light is right! Early morning or dusk, get there early as photographers jostling for best spot on bridge.

Interesting bridge with interesting squares on its two ends. It is interesting to know which are the buildings of the university and which is the other building with which they make perfect match.

Crossing all 4 bridges of the Grand Canal is a must. While not as famous as the Rialto, this bridge allows a little more elbow room, plus there are views from both sides so you get both perspectives.
